"Be Kind to One Another"

Dear Longden Family,

During our Spirit Assembly this week, a beautiful rainbow appeared through big swirling clouds, as if it were cutting through the overcast sky - almost as if he had made his entrance to our spirit rally. I can’t help but feel it was Mr. Bender’s way of letting us know he is present and how proud he is of us. I know he is proud of this community, and I want you to know that I am, too. 💙💛

☕ Morning Brew with the Admin Crew! 🍵
I’m excited to formally introduce our new monthly virtual gathering, Morning Brew with the Admin Crew!
These meetings will be the perfect place to share school news and updates, answer your questions, and hear your thoughts and feedback.
Think of it as a monthly chance to connect over a virtual cup of tea or coffee and stay in the loop.
Stay tuned for more details coming shortly. We can’t wait to see you there!

🧡 Spirit Assembly & Unity Day
We hope you caught the livestream of our third graders leading the Spirit Assembly. They rocked it and did an awesome job highlighting our Character Trait of the Month - Caring. Their song performance hit all the perfect notes for Unity Day.

Students from every grade level were also recognized for outstanding modeling of caring for others with special dog tags and roaring cheers!
The fun continued as the entire school locked arms together in a powerful demonstration of unity. Students also wrote special messages on individual hearts and placed them on the office wall to create a giant orange heart for Unity Day.
Scroll down the newsletter to check out the video & pictures.

📚 Temple City Library Field Trip
Our fifth graders from Mrs. Chang and Mr. Nguyen’s classrooms enjoyed a walking field trip to the Temple City Library. They explored the library, practiced research skills, and discovered resources that will help them grow as learners.
