"Be Kind to One Another"

c

Dear Longden Community,

🍁 The fall season has ushered in the season of gratitude, falling leaves, pumpkin everything, and fingers crossed, cooler temperatures.
While today was still a scorcher and we’re waiting for that milder weather to fully arrive, we’re grateful nonetheless, and ready for all the fun activities planned for our students.

In the meantime, please continue sending water with your children and using sunscreen so our Tigers stay hydrated and protected.

⚠️  Emergency Drill
This week we held our monthly emergency drill, and once again our students impressed us. They clearly understand the different drills and know exactly how to respond in each situation.
Excellent work, Tigers!

🦁👑  Musical Auditions
Longden’s got talent, we already knew that, but WOW!
Our students went all-out and channeled their inner performers during auditions for the upcoming musical The Lion King.
Creativity, energy, and lots of courage were on full display.
It's an exciting start to what is sure to be an amazing show. Waiting for this production to come to life won’t be easy, but I know it’s going to be awesome!

💙💛  Custodian Appreciation
It warms my heart to see and feel the love you have for our custodial team - the true MVPs of Longden.
Watching our students, families, and staff celebrate them with so much kindness and appreciation has been one of the highlights of this week.
Thank you for showing our amazing custodial crew just how much they mean to the entire Longden community.

With deepest gratitude,

Nickie Oh-Saxon 🐾
