There’s a lot to celebrate at Longden Elementary!
We are proud to announce that Longden School has been recognized as a California PBIS Platinum recipient for 2026.
This recognition reflects the efforts of our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program, which focuses on encouraging positive behavior, enhancing school safety, and building a culture where every student feels respected, valued, and prepared to learn.
Our Kind, Safe, & Responsible expectations are woven into our school routines and reinforced through encouragement, recognition, and support.
What makes this achievement especially exciting and motivating, is the growth we continue to see in our school community. Our students are learning to take ownership of their behavior and their role in creating a school climate where everyone feels welcome and included.
The relationships we build, the positive choices our students make, and the sense of belonging we foster, all contribute to a stronger school culture.
Earning the Platinum recognition is not something that happens overnight. It takes consistency, teamwork, reflection, and a shared commitment to doing what is best for our students.
We are grateful for the dedication of our teachers and staff. We appreciate the partnership of our families, and most importantly, the effort that our students put into making Longden a great place to learn and grow.
As we celebrate this accomplishment in 2026, we also recognize that the work continues.
We will keep looking for ways to strengthen our school culture, support students, cheer their success, and make sure every Tiger knows they are valued and an important part of our Longden family.
Congratulations to our entire Longden community on this well-deserved recognition!
We are so proud of you, Tigers! 🐯
