🐯 Hello Longden Families,

We’ve had an exciting week at Longden!

🎶 VAPA Kaleidoscope Chorus Showcase
We’re still in awe of the VAPA Showcase at Oak Ave School—watch the video above and get ready to be wowed. Every single Tiger exceeded expectations, and we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and talent.
It was inspiring to see so many students grow in confidence, push through their nerves, and shine on stage. The showcase was a reminder of what the performing arts can do, and of the dedication, talent, and community that make it all come together.
Special thanks to Mr. Gilbert Nazari and Ms. Lacey Scanlan for their leadership and support in bringing this event to life. 🫶🏻

🏀 Harlem Wizards assembly
Our students had an absolute blast at the Harlem Wizards assembly! They cheered each other on while learning tricks and moves, many of which you might see again during Sunday’s Harlem Wizards vs. Teachers game. It was a fun sneak preview of what’s sure to be an unforgettable matchup!

🌟 Open House
Thank you for joining us for our incredibly successful Open House! It was a wonderful evening, with students leading their families through classrooms and around campus, excited to share their learning and accomplishments. The joy and pride throughout the event made the night unforgettable. We are so grateful to you for being part of it!

🎉 PBIS Monthly Event
What a fantastic way to wrap up the week! The counselors hosted our “Picnic with the Staff,” where students and teachers came together to share a meal, play games, and enjoy an afternoon of fun and smiles together. 🧺
A huge shoutout to Ms. Betts and Mr. Ramirez for putting together such fun and engaging events! Take a peek at the pics snapped during the picnic here.
