🐯 Hello, Longden Families.

We had a busy week at Longden!
Here’s a quick look at what’s been happening—and what’s coming up next.

ᥫ᭡ Celebrating Our Amazing Assistant Principal!
A note from Mrs. Oh–Saxon:
Thank you for all the wonderful appreciation shown during National Assistant Principals Week. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such a thoughtful and supportive community.
Thank you to our families, staff, and students for making Longden such a special place to be! 💛

🍓This week, the second half of our fifth-grade classes enjoyed a wonderful trip to Tanaka Farms in Irvine. In beautiful weather, students explored the farm, took a wagon ride, and learned about how food is grown. They also picked fresh produce and visited the animals. It was a fun, hands-on day that helped them connect with nature and understand where their food comes from.

🧏‍♂️ We wrapped up the week by completing state-mandated hearing screenings for students in TK, Kindergarten, 2nd, and 5th grades. Thank you to the PTA volunteers and nurse Jade for helping make the process smooth and for supporting our students throughout the screenings.

🔍 Looking Ahead — More Learning & Fun!
  • Progress reports will be going home
  • Tiger Store will open twice
  • Spring Pictures will be held
  • Lunch on the Lawn is coming up

Thank you, Mrs. Oh-Saxon!
