Dear Parents & Guardians of Longden English Learners ("ELs"): 

You are invited to attend our second ELAC (English Language Advisory Committee) parent meeting of this school year. These meetings are intended to help you learn more about TCUSD's ELD (English Language Development) program, of which your child is a part of, and how that takes shape at Longden. 

With the Summative ELPAC testing season beginning in February, we will be discussing how to access the practice ELPAC exam online. We will also go over how Title III funding supports your child and seek your input on how we can improve our program. 

This meeting will be held on Zoom at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, January 20th. Chinese & Spanish translation provided.

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for yesterday's second ELAC parent meeting. Attached, please find the slides from our presentation in both English and Chinese; other languages are available upon request. We have also attached copies of the DFAs (Directions for Administration) that contain the answer keys, grading rubrics, and test examiner questions for the Speaking and Writing domains.
